Full Moon Temple-Program,
in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir,
Muni-ki-reti, via Rishikesh, Uttarakhand,

In the Headquarters of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas:
Kumari Somashekhari is ready for her Full Moon Temple-Dance Performance.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, along with Dr. Anupam Vaid, an important and dynamic Trustee of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, are preparing the sound system for the Full Moon Program in the Temple.

Kumari Somashekhari started her worship through Indian Classical Temple Dance
with a Pushpanjali for Lord Shiva.

Somashekhari is depicting the beautiful crescent moon,
which is an important ornament, adorning Lord Shiva's head.

On this occasion Somashekhari also presented a Devi Dance.

A small, but selected audience watches the Divine Dances,
performed by Kumari Somashekhari in the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

The Highlight of this Full Moon Temple-Program was no doubt the wonderful speech by
Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji. He told the Devotees, that God is always ready to help us, but often we do not approach Him for help. If we would strongly request the Divine,
He would definitely help us, and if - in some rare cases - the help seems to be delayed,
we may later on realize, that our difficulties were a "Blessing in disguise" to prevent greater misery. Swamiji cited an example from the Uddhava Gita, Lord Krishna's last words to
His Devotee Uddhava. Uddhava had asked Lord Krishna, why He did not prevent Yudhishthira from gambling and losing the entire kingdom. Lord Krishna replied, that He was seeing
everything and could have prevented everything, but since He was not called for help,
He did not interfere with the happenings. Citing the example of Draupadi's misery,
when the evil Duhshaasana tried to disrobe her, Swamiji said, that Lord Krishna immediately
came for help, as soon as Draupadi desperately was crying for Him. Swami Vishveshwarananda further explained in his beautiful speech, that God can even heal diseases, if we honestly
implore Him to help.

Swamiji ended his most inspiring and heart-touching speech by saying,
that Sadgurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati can surely heal us
from sickness and remove our pain, if we earnestly call to Him for help.
Swami Vishveshwarananda got a lot of applause for his most inspiring and
heart-touching speech.
This short, sweet and divine Full Moon Temple-Program concluded with distribution of
chocolates by Swamiji and Somaji to all, followed by Prasadam from the Temple Priests.
