Place the cursor in the ITRANS window.

From the Tools menu select 'Insert Devanagari Character'.

Select the 'Devanagari' tab.

Click on any Devanagari Character to get the corresponding ITRANS code inserted at the cursor position.

Press and hold the 'Shift' key to see 'half' characters.

•
|
Press the 'Ligatures' button to see an extended list.

... a Transliteration character:

Place the cursor in the ITRANS window.

Note:
After inserting a character the window closes. If you need to insert more than one character, the 'Keep open' function keeps the window open, till you manually close it.
