The School is situated on a slope of a mountain
in a picturesque hill area of Tehri Garhwal. The
natural beauty of this place is very charming.
The climate here is very cool, calm and healthy.
Sometimes, this place has also snow falls in the
months of January and February, which enrich the
natural beauty manifold. The view of the School
is dominated on one side by the village and on
the other side, there is a beautiful view of the
Surkanda Temple. The villagers run a branch of
the nearby situated Kunjapuri Temple.
On the request of the villagers, Swami
Omkarananda very kindly approved the adoption of
this School in 1990. Since then the School is
running in a very wonderful manner imparting
quality education. It is planned to start Junior
High School Classes very shortly, because there
is a real request and need in the village.
