Independence Day Celebration
in Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Inter-College (OSN),
Muni-ki-reti, via Rishikesh, on 15th August 2024

From left to right, in front of the main office of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Inter-College (OSN): OSN Principal, Shri Rajiv Singh Rautela, Shri I.D. Joshi, the Chief Guest of the Independence Day Celebration, H.H. Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati and Dr. Anupam Vaid.

The hoisting of the National Flag was done by H.H. Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati.

Immediately after the National Flag had been unfurled by Swami Vishveshwarananda,
all are singing the National Anthem.

The OSN Principal welcomes the Chief Guest, Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, with a beautiful rose flower bouquet.

Shri I.D. Joshi, President of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Management Committee, is also heartily welcomed with a flower bouquet.

The Principal, Shri Rajiv Singh Rautela, addresses the honourable Guests, Teachers and Students on this occasion.

On the stage, from left to right: Shri Munnesh Agnihotri, Secretary, OSN Management Committee, and Shri Pradeep Vaid, Treasurer, OSN Management Committee, are rewarding deserving OSN Students.

Shri I.D. Joshi, too, was requested to honour successful OSN Students.

The scholarly Senior Educationist, Shri I. D. Joshi, addresses all on this occasion.

Nicely dressed OSN Students, from the OSN School Choir, are singing a Desh Bhakti Geet.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda honoured many deserving OSN Students for their hard work.

On the occasion of Independence Day Celebration in Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Inter-College, H.H. Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati addressed OSN Students, Principal, Teachers, Staff and all honourable Guests. He emphasized the importance of the Independence Day and the Freedom it grants to this wonderful country, Bharat, and its citizens.
