Visit of Professor Dr. Rakesh Chandra Bhatt, Pro Vice Chancellor, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar, Uttarakhand, to the Headquarters of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, on 1st April 2024

Dr. Praveen Kumar Rathi, Director, Omkarananda Institute of Management and Technology (OIMT) (left), hands over important literature of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas to Prof. Dr. Rakesh Chandra Bhatt, during one of his inspection visits to OIMT, on 1st April 2024. Prof. Dr. Rakesh Chandra Bhatt is the Pro Vice Chancellor of a very important University in Uttarakhand, the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. Presently there are more than 1114 Universities in India, but only a few are recognized as Central Universities. Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University is one of them and the only University in whole of Uttarakhand, which is having this prestigious Status.

OIMT Director, Dr. Rathi, had brought Prof. Dr. Bhatt to the Headquarters of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, for a meeting with its President and General Secretary. Prof. Dr. Rakesh Chandra Bhatt (left) is a very eminent Personality and a great Research Scholar, with a deeply spiritual background. Among his Specialization and Research Interest are History, including Ancient Indian History, Culture, Archaeology, Art, Architecture, Iconography, etc.

H. H. Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, and Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Indian Classical Dancer and Musician, were very happy to meet such a fine person and erudite scholar like Prof. Dr. Bhatt.

Prof Dr. Rakesh Chandra Bhatt expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari, for fulfilling their Gurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati's Mission to spread best Education and moral and Divine Values in a very sincere way, even in very neglected areas of Uttarakhand.

Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Rakesh Chandra Bhatt, receives the Blessings of Arati and Kumkum Tilak from Omkarananda Ashram Priest, Shri Mukesh Vyas, after having the Darshan of the most beautiful Supreme Divine Mother, Shri Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi.

Prof. Dr. Bhatt was shown all the different Shrines of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, and he was very impressed by the beautiful Deities and the cleanliness of this Temple.
