International Women's Day Celebration

OIMT Students, in their beautiful B.Ed. Sari Uniforms, are guiding the Chief Guest, Kumari Somashekhari, through the beautiful Campus of Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology (OIMT) to a Lecture Hall.

The Honourable OIMT Director, Dr. Praveen Kumar Rathi, is welcoming Kumari Somashekhari with a nice flower bouquet.

Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Indian Classical Dancer and Musician, thanked everybody for the kind reception given to her. She was all praise for the OIMT Director, Dr. Rathi, who took the initiative to highlight the International Women's Day with a powerful Debate Competition by Students of OIMT, related to the topic: "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress". Somashekhari also said, that all women on this planet deserve highest respect.

The audience, consisting of some Faculty Members and Students of OIMT, are listening to Kumari Somashekhari's speech.

OIMT Student, Shri Agrim Goel, studying in BBA Course (Bachelor of Business Administration), 6th Semester, was the talented Master of Ceremonies.

OIMT Student, Kumari Shaivi Gureja, of BBA Course, 6th Semester, thrilled the audience with her brilliant, dynamic and flawless speech, highlighting the importance of helping women to progress.

For her outstanding speech Kumari Shaivi was selected as the winner of the Debate Competition, congratulated by OIMT Director and Kumari Somashekhari and rewarded with a Certificate.

Dr. Praveen Kumar Rathi, Director OIMT, requested the Chief Guest, Kumari Somashekhari, to honour all the OIMT Female Faculties with a beautiful, fresh, red rose on this special International Women's Day.

Kumari Somashekhari, too, was given a beautiful red rose. Here one can see her along with the Director, OIMT, and different Heads of Department of OIMT.

After a successful Celebration of International Women's Day, in form of a Debate Competition, some Students and Faculty Members of OIMT were invited for a group photo with the Director, Dr. Rathi and the Chief Guest, Kumari Somashekhari.
