Bhajan, Kirtan, Blessings by Mahant Shri
Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President, Omkarananda
Ashram Himalayas, and Sadhu Bhandara, in Honour of
Sadgurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, at
Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, on 29th December 2022

H.H. Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda
Saraswati, President, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas (left), enters
the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, in order to bless all Sadhus
on this auspicious day. He is accompanied by Omkarananda Ashram
Priests, Shri Suresh Panditji (next to Swamiji) and Shri Sanjay
Panditji (right), and Ashram Trustee Dr. Anupam Vaid (middle).

More and more Sadhus gathered inside the
Mandapa of the beautiful Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir. Shri
Swami Satchidananda Saraswati (standing) welcomes all the Sadhus
and offers flower malas to many of them.

H.H. Shri Swami Sundarananda Saraswati,
President Karttikeya Ashram, Rishikesh, addresses the Sadhus on
this occasion. Next to him is sitting H.H. Mahant Shri Swami
Vishveshwarananda Saraswati.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda
Saraswati addresses all the Sadhus in his usual kind and joyous
manner. Shri Swami Sundarananda Saraswati translates into Hindi.

All the Sadhus are blessed by Shri Swami
Vishveshwaranandaji's divine and encouraging words. It was like a
small wonder, that so many Sadhus had assembled for this event,
which takes place once in a year, since whole of North India was
in the grip of a very severe cold wave, breaking all records. It
was expected, that, because of extremely uncomfortable and cold
weather, only very few Sadhus would come. But it was just the
opposite. Most probably the Sadhus felt so much attracted to the
beautiful and deeply spiritual environment of Omkarananda Ashram
Himalayas and to the utterly kind, sweet, humble and divine nature
of its President, Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati,
that they did not mind to brave the severe cold.

After Swami Vishveshwarananda had completed
his address to the Sadhus, Shri I.D. Joshi, a great Senior
Educationist from Rishikesh and a staunch Bhakta of Shri Swami
Vishveshwaranandaji, requested Shri Swami Sundaranandaji to read
out a citation in Praise of Swami Vishveshwarananda.

A wonderful Sadhu Bhandara in Honour of
Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati took place near the
Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir. Very great care had been taken,
that only utmost sattvic, pure, hygienic and high-class
ingredients were used for the special food for the Saints.

Shri Swami Satchidananda Saraswati,
Treasurer, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, distributed Dakshina to
the holy men. Thereafter each Sadhu received a soft, warm blanket.

Many Sadhus expressed their happiness and
gratitude for the wonderful event in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
before proceeding towards their respective places.
