Release of Book "Subrahmanya Ratnakarah"

Dr. U. Vaidyanatha, the Chief-Priest of Malai Mandir, New Delhi, invited the President of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati and its General Secretary, Kumari Somashekhari, for the release of his book, the "Subrahmanya Ratnakarah", in the Sri Devi Kamakshi Mandir, New Delhi, on 20th November 2022.

At the entrance of the Sri Devi Kamakshi Mandir, New Delhi, Dr. U. Vaidyanatha, Sivacharyar, garlanded Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, who had come all the way from Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas to attend the book release function.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, is introduced to Shri Pollachi S. Ganesan, Executive Trustee, Sri Devi Kamakshi Mandir, New Delhi.

Dr. U. Vaidyanatha accompanied Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari through the Sri Devi Kamakshi Mandir and guided them towards the Satsang Hall of this Temple. Dr. Vaidyanatha had specially arranged a traditional welcome for Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji and Kumari Somashekhari, with South Indian Musicians, playing Nadaswaram and Temple drums.

Dr. U. Vaidyanatha with Dr. Anupam Vaid (sitting next to him), a very important Trustee of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, who also had come specially from Rishikesh, along with Swami Vishveshwaranandaji and Kumari Somashekhari, to attend the book release function in New Delhi.

When more and more people had arrived in the big hall, the special VIP guests of this function were respectfully seated at the Dais, facing the audience. After lighting of the Deepas, Prof. A. S. Aravamudan, Department of Mimansa, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi (standing and holding the mike), introduced the book of Dr. U. Vaidyanatha to the VIP guests and the audience.

The much awaited moment of the official release of the book "Subrahmanya Ratnakarah" by Dr. U. Vaidyanatha Sivacharyar, has arrived. H.H. Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati and Kumari Somashekhari present to the public the newly released book by Dr. U. Vaidyanatha, the "Subrahmanya Ratnakarah".

H. H. Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, while addressing the noble gathering, expressed his sincere adorations for Dr. U. Vaidyanathaji. During his charming, natural and inspiring speech, which was flowing directly from his Heart, Swami Vishveshwarananda got several times spontaneous applause by the people from the audience. Afterwards Prof. A. S. Aravamudan (from Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi) and others came to Swamiji and thanked him for his wonderful speech. On the next day, when Swamiji, Kumari Somashekhari and Dr. Anupam Vaid could again personally meet Dr. Vaidyanathaji, he told, that after the book release function many of his devotees had inquired about Swami Vishveshwarananda, asking: "Where is Swamiji now? Where does he come from? Where is he staying? Can we meet him?" Dr. Vaidyanatha also emphasized, that Swami Vishveshwarananda's speech has impressed the people.

Also Kumari Somashekhari was requested to speak on this great occasion. After reciting a short Mantra, Somashekhari explained to the audience her own experiences with Dr. U. Vaidyanatha.

Finally Dr. U. Vaidyanatha Sivacharyar, M.Phil., Ph.D., Chief-Priest of Malai Mandir, New Delhi, addressed his devotees and guests. He explained the importance of the worship of the powerful Deity, Shri Subrahmanya, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. To bring out his book, "Subrahmanya Ratnakarah", Dr. Vaidyanatha had done very extensive research for about two decades. The outcome of his research is available now through this book, which consists of 600 pages and is mostly in the Sanskrit language.

At the conclusion of this memorable event, different Dignitaries approached Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and had interaction with him. In turn Swamiji offered them some wonderful, important literature of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and blessed them with Rudraksha Malas. Here on can see H.H.
