Full Moon Temple-Program,
in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, on 20th September 2021

Kumari Somashekhari, while dancing, depicts the beautiful crescent moon, which is the crown jewel of Lord Shiva and also of Divine Mother Shri Lalita Maha-Tripurasundari Devi or Shri Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi.

It was an extremely exhausting, very hot and very humid Full Moon Day, on a Monday. During Evening-Arati in the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir it started raining. But this did not deter Kumari Somashekhari to worship the Divine with a few Bharatanatyam Temple- Dances.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, inspired the Devotees and Priests, present in the Temple, with a wonderful spiritual story, which nicely illustrated, that laziness prevents progress, whereas real hard work and perseverance always pay off in form of good luck and success. Swamiji concluded, that one can reach any goal in life, be it a material or spiritual goal, provided one works always hard for it and never becomes complacent or lazy. Since Swami Vishveshwarananda himself is a shining example for immense hard work in the form of selfless Karma Yoga, his words carried conviction to the listeners in the Temple, who showed their appreciation for Swamiji's inspiring speech with loud clapping.
