Full Moon Temple-Program,
in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, on 18th December 2021

Kumari Arpita had her first-ever Solo-Dance Performance of Indian Classical Dance, in the beautiful Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, on 18th December 2021, a Full Moon night.

Kumari Arpita is a very dedicated and sincere dance-student of Kumari Somashekhari, since beginning of November 2021. Here Kumari Arpita can be seen in the pose of Lord Shiva Nataraja.

After her student Kumari Arpita's lovely and successful dance performance, Kumari Somashekhari presented two Bharatanatyam Temple-Dances, a Temple-dance based mainly on rhythm, and another, where Kumari Somashekhari danced to a famous spiritual song in ancient Tamil language, composed by the Goddess and Saint-Poetess Shri Aandaal, about 5000 years ago.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati - as always during such Full Moon Temple-Programs - addressed all Devotees with his kind and inspiring words. He appreciated each and every one, who had come to this holy function and he mentioned, that all of them had to make some little sacrifice to be present in the night for a spiritual program, in the open Temple Hall, in the very cold North Indian Winter-climate, when the temperature falls down to a Minimum of 5 Degree Celsius or less. Further Swamiji praised the divine dance-performance of Kumari Arpita and also thanked her dance-teacher, Kumari Somashekhari, for preparing Kumari Arpita in such a wonderful and perfect manner within the shortest period of time. Swamiji very beautifully explained to the audience in the Temple the highly divine and mystical aspect of real devotional Indian Classical Dance. Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati also educated the North Indian Devotees on the inspiring life-story of one of the greatest Worshippers of Lord Narayana or Lord Krishna, the God-Incarnation and Poetess Shri Aandaal, who lived about 5000 years ago in today's Tamil Nadu. Since Shri Aandaal is known mostly only in South Indian States, but hardly, if at all, in North India, it was very interesting for the Devotees to come to know about a few inspiring spiritual events in the life of Saint-Poetess Aandaal and some of her teachings, nicely narrated by Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji during this special Full Moon Temple-Program. "Spirituality is the very Essence of Life ! It is the Seed of Perfection !", Swamiji exclaimed. He emphasized, that a life, which is not spiritually oriented, is wasted. A person may be outwardly very rich, very powerful, very successful, but if he or she has no spiritual power in the heart, this person has to come again and again, taking repeated births.

Finally Swami Vishveshwaranandaji wished everybody the Blessings of Sadgurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, that He may open their eyes, their inner eyes, their true eyes, so that everyone can escape from the suffering of the daily life. As always, Swamiji concluded his beautiful and divine speech with the joyous exclamation:

"OM Shri Paramahamsa Omkaranandaji ki Jay !!! "
