Neha, the Master of Ceremonies, requests
Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, President Omkarananda Ashram
Himalayas, to bless everybody with his words of Wisdom.

Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji spoke on an
interesting topic: The meaning of some hand gestures, or
"Mudras", specially the "Chinmudra", and its meaning
and importance in the spiritual context. He explained, that in
this holy hand gesture the combination of thumb and index-finger
symbolizes the Union of the finite human individual with the
Divine, with the Infinite. Swamiji mentioned among other things,
that the main hindrance to the conscious Union with God is the
ego. Only when the ego is overcome, one can attain Oneness with
the Divine. All Devotees and Guests were listening with great
attention to Swami Vishveshwarananda's wonderful spiritual
lecture.
