Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati,
President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
on the occasion of Full Moon Temple-Program,
in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, on 24th June 2021

It is so wonderful, that You all have come over here. It is Full Moon today, and this is very powerful, it is wonderful. And the dance was really spiritual, purely spiritual and it has an effect on all of us here.

You see, in this regard I would like to tell you one thing: Uddhava once told to Krishna: "Why, Krishna, You let all these problems come?! Yudhishthira could go on gambling, and You have seen everything, and You have allowed everything. The problem came with Draupadi and You have also allowed each and everything. Why is it so, when You had the Power to prevent all these things?" Krishna was very happy, that Uddhava raised these questions. Because Uddhava was really not sure, that, when Krishna has so much power, then why all this has happened?

Krishna told him: "Look here, even I was outside, when Yudhishthira was gambling, but Yudhishthira himself was praying, that I - Krishna - may not come inside, because he wanted to make this game!"

So, he avoided Krishna and what has happened? Everything they lost, because they have avoided Him.

Now, what happened with Draupadi? The situation became very bad for her, because they wanted to completely disrobe her in front of all these people over there, which would have been a total tragedy. And they started already and nothing has happened. But then, suddenly, she remembered Krishna and she started crying for Him. At that time, He stood there and saved each and everything.

So then Uddhava asked: "Why all this happened?"

Lord Krishna replied: "Look here, Yudhishthira never wanted me to come and Draupadi - only later on - when she had no other chance, was calling for me. I am here as a Witness, but when I have not been called, out of the law of Karma, I cannot come."

So, what we can learn out of this here?

If we really are in trouble, be sure the Lord is always witnessing us. But if we do not call Him, then why He should help? He cannot just come out of His own, and then everything goes according to Karma.

If You are in trouble, let's say You have a small accident, maybe a crowd will come and create problems. At that moment, You do not know what to do, and the crowd will get angry and shout. But if at that moment You call the Lord, Who is already Witness to the whole scenario, He comes and He may help. This help of course depends on so many things according to the Karma, but I tell you, He definitely helps. The problem is, that we can't see the Lord, because of our limited eyes. But He is always here. Then, if we honestly ask Him to help, it works.

Friends, I really don't want to exaggerate, but it happened often, that so many difficulties have come to us, that in the end we had no other chance than really to cry for the Lord. And believe me, if you cry for Him, He comes.

The Lord is always a Witness, but sometimes, though we know He is a Witness, we may create trouble for ourselves.

Let's say, a smoker knows, that the Lord is there. But still he smokes and he deceives himself thinking, that nobody sees it! But then he can come into very great trouble. Nobody can challenge the Lord!!!

The fact is, dear Friends, we should always remember Him. He is always ready to help. After all, we all are in reality the Lord Himself, our Supreme Atma is the Lord. It will definitely protect. But if we have not any sympathy for Him, and if we do not ask Him for help, then what shall I do.

Take even a worldly matter: A child cries. Do you think Mommy will not go and help? She will definitely go and help! And even in the animal area: When you hear a small monkey start shouting, my goodness, these mother monkeys they just rush to the spot here!

So, believe me, if a situation has come, any situation, let us remember always the Lord. And You can take it for granted, He is there.

But on the other hand, do not also be disappointed, if help for a moment has not happened. Because the Lord, Who sees everything, knows that a situation is coming for somebody and through this situation anything is going to happen, which in the end will be only helpful for him.

You are never going to fail, if You call the Lord. Even if You feel at that time, He has not helped, suddenly, later on, maybe ten days later, maybe even later, You will realize: "Oh, my goodness! It was a Blessing in disguise!"

So, remember this, this is very very important!

Think, how many people on this planet are not even believing in God! They think He is not existing. They even think, they believe only what they see. My goodness, what a shortage is there! A painful life is coming for them, since everything depends on their body and once their body is crushed, then what they are doing? They cry.

So, dear Friends, we have a great chance to live in a very spiritual country, to live in places, where Mantras are going on, to live in places like Omkarananda Ashram, to live in places, where great Priests are worshipping every day Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi.

So, we can call Gurudev!

Even if You have a problem in respect of health or anything else, call on Gurudev, and He is there at the moment! Help is guaranteed!
