Vishwakarma Puja in Omkarananda Ashram

Every year it is the custom in Omkarananda
Ashram Himalayas, to celebrate the day, specially dedicated to
the Divine Lord of Architecture and Craftsmanship, Lord
Vishwakarma. In His Honour a nice Altar and a Hawana-Kunda had
been established by Priests of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

Priests are ready to start the Yajna.
Different important tools, used by the
Omkarananda Ashram Carpenter and other workers, like hammers,
screwdrivers, drilling-machine, saw for cutting wood, brushes for
painting-works, etc. etc., have been nicely placed on the
Altar in front of a photo of Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda
Saraswati and a picture of Lord Vishwakarma. Puja had been
made by the Ashram Priests, so that these important tools may be
blessed and be further on used for good purposes.
The Yajna has been started and Shri Swami
Satchidananda and Priest Mukesh Panditji are offering Ahutis.
In the background, watching the Hawana and partaking in its
spiritual Benefits, are sitting several Employees of the
Headquarters of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Managers,
Accountant, Electrician, Carpenter, Plumber, Printing
Assistant, Gardener, the Maintenance and House-keeping Staff, and
so on. Shri Swami Sannishthananda from Tamil Nadu, who had
joined the Ashram for a few days as a guest, also took part in
the Vishwakarma Celebrations.

Shri Mukesh Panditji distributes Prasadam,
in form of fruits and sweets, to each and everyone.
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati,
President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Kumari
Somashekhari, General Secretary, also receive the Blessings of
Lord Vishwakarma.
