36th Foundation Day Celebration of
Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Inter-College (OSN), Muni-ki-Reti, via Rishikesh, on 1st December 2018

An Altar of Gurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, the Founder of
Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, was established in the School's Auditorium.

Before the start of the Cultural Program, Deepas were lighted in front of Gurudev
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati. From left to right: Shri Debasis Das, OSN Principal,
Shri Sukumar, Secretary OSN Management - Committee, Shri Roshan Raturi,
the newly elected Chairman of Nagar Palika Muni-ki-Reti – Dhalwala,
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

OSN students started the cultural program with a beautiful Saraswati Vandana Dance.

Other students of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam (OSN)
performed a very nice Ganesha Vandana Dance.

 The cute Tiny Tots danced to a patriotic song.

A joyous Folk-Dance by OSN School-Students.

The cultural Program, on the occasion of the 36th Foundation Day Celebration
of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Inter-College (OSN), was concluded with a
very impressive dance by Senior students to music of the powerful Shiva-Tandava Stotram.

Shri Roshan Raturi, Chairman Nagar Palika Muni-ki-Reti – Dhalwala, was the Chief Guest
of this Function. He was full of praise for the beautiful performances of the OSN students
and he also appreciated the contribution of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas to Education
in Uttarakhand, under the capable guidance of Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and his team.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati's speech was heart-touching and
thought-provoking. He appealed to the students and to everybody in the audience
not to strive exclusively for outer knowledge but to incorporate spirituality and
ethical and moral values. He emphasized, that knowledge without real spirituality
is critical and might even be dangerous. Swamiji also mentioned, that India is having
one of the finest Cultures in the world.

  OSN Principal, Shri Debasis Das, concluded the wonderful function
with his warm Vote of Thanks to each and everyone.
