Kala-Bhairava Ashtami Celebrations in
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, on 29th & 30th November 2018
In the night of 29th November 2018, the
Celebrations of Kala-Bhairava Ashtami started at the beautiful
Mahakala-Bhairava Mandir, in the Headquarters of Omkarananda
Ashram Himalayas. Outside the Temple, in the Mandapa, an Altar
with Photos of Gurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati and
Sant Prabhuji, had been established, along with the Utsava
Murti of Shri Mahakala-Bhairava and masks of Yogeshwara and
Yogeshwari.
A special Svarna-Akarshana Bhairava Yantra,
consisting of 108 earthen Kalashas, filled with holy Ganges
water, had been established on this occasion by Priests of
Omkarananda Ashram. During recitation of special Prayers by Suresh
Panditji, Mukesh Panditji offered fresh flowers into each
Kalasha.
A powerful Yajna was conducted in
front of the Shrine of Shri Mahakala-Bhairava by a Priest of
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Shri Sanjay Panditji.
The fragrance of this wonderful Hawana
permeated the whole environment of the Headquarters of
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

conclusion of the powerful Yajna.
In the next morning, on 30th November 2018,
the Kala-Bhairava Ashtami Celebrations in Omkarananda Ashram
Himalayas, were continued with a wonderful Yajna, which was
completed with Purnahuti. Thereafter Abhisheka, Alankara and Arati
were made with deep devotion for Lord Mahakala-Bhairava,
followed by Prasad Distribution.
