Vasant-Navaratri Celebrations
in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir and
other Temples of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
from 21st March to 29th March 2015

Wonderful Yajna for a great start of Navaratri.

Swami Vishveshwarananda, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, offers Arati to all the Deities.

In his address to the audience, Swamiji explains the meaning of
the different Temple dance items, performed by Kumari Somashekhari.

Kumari Somashekhari is giving a great artistic dance performance
with intricate rhythmic steps and different kinds of Mudras. Every item is a pure Prayer.

Swamiji offers thanks to Somaji for her excellent work
and also speaks about the importance of Navaratri.

Tilak is applied to nine Kanyas, and after that everyone received nice gift items.

Bhandara for nine Kanyas in Omkarananda Radha-Krishna Mandir, Dehradun Road, Rishikesh.

On Vijaya Dashami a final Yajna is performed in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir,
marking the conclusion of a successful Navaratri.

Soma and the Chief Priest Suresh are offering Ghee with the Dhara to the holy fire.

Every Kanya is blessed by Kumari Somashekhari, who applies Kumkum Tilak to all of them.

Finally a useful presentation with nice items is given to every Kanya.

Arati is offered to every child by Somaji.

After the holy rituals, all the Kanyas and a Suvasini are taking part in a Bhandara.
