 On 24th August 2010 Darshan Mahavidyalaya celebrated Swami Raghavacharya's Jayanti in a grand way.

Learned Sanskrit Scholars, Acharyas and Pandits from the entire State of Uttarakhand were participating.

Chief Guest of this function was honourable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal, who laid the foundation stone for a new lecture hall.

Different Sadhus marked their presence in the function and the Chief Minister was garlanding each Swami himself.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, President, Omkarananda Ashram, Shri Swami Vedavyasananda from Vishwamitra Ashram and many others graced the occasion.
