A Few Great Thoughts
By Acharya Surya Prakash (Prabhuji)

Dear Friend,

Meditate as much as you can easily do. In meditation our soul melts and we are dissolved. There is no greater joy than to love in meditation. Love is craving and the thirst of our soul. It is such a great joy to love in meditation. You can love in meditation as much as you like in the nuptial chamber of your heart. It is a continuous and perpetual flow; you can rest in this consciousness as much as you like. It is the merger and union of the two souls in one. It means the union of two paths, fused in one. In this state of consciousness you can live as long as you like and your heart flows ceaselessly. Tears of love trickle down from your cheeks. The sapling of love sprouts in the depth of your heart. The cavity of heart opens which has been closed for centuries from time immemorial of which history has no record. A new opening takes place. A bud which has been closed for such a long time opens itself up and then blossoms into a complete flower of rose. What a fragrance, aroma and perfume that pervades all the surroundings! Only a Yogi can stay in that state of consciousness. In fact this union in love and meditation is an accomplishment of our life. Life is meaningless and futile without it. Self control and self abstinence is its natural outcome. It is not a control from outside, nor is it a denial of love in the least. It is like a dam of love, in which we store love in abundance in order to be drowned in it. If we are drowned in a river or in an ocean we die. But if we are drowned in the ocean of love, then there is no fear. It is in drowning in the ocean of love that we receive ourselves in its reality and we realize our True Self in the fathomless ocean of Love. O really, it is a great joy, even when I think of it.

Great souls, pure and pious, with purity of heart, can only have it. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Really, a child is pure in heart and he sees God everywhere. I don't want to become a great man, I don't want to become very much known to the world. I shall be meaninglessly lost and confused. All that I want to become is to become an innocent child and tied to the apron string of my Mother Divine. So much of confidence I have, so much of faith and so much of belief that I never ask her where She is going. In the presence of my Mother Divine I'm safe and secure. Mother is a great refuge and protection inside the heart and outside as well. Inside and outside are a continuous Whole. We are fond of divisions, but in case of my Mother Divine she is indivisible. She is a form and formlessness, both in one. In form she is a contentment and satisfaction. In formlessness she is everywhere. That is why when we realize her in form she transforms herself in formlessness and we can see her everywhere. Just as I see you, when you are beside me and I see you from here in your formless form. Form and formlessness are the two extremes of the same reality and both are needed. If you shall have only a form, then I will see you only when you are in front of me in body. But in formlessness I see you from here and you are as delicate soft and tender, still sometimes more, when you are at a distance of thousands of kilometers. In fact it is love which has no limitations or borders. Both are equally delightful. Love is like camphor, like a volatile liquid, like perfume of rose or lavender. These perfumes of rose and lavender are symbols. We don't smell rose or lavender as a physical entity, but because they provoke deep feelings of love that we have in our heart. Only a lover can smell the perfume of roses and appreciate their beauty in the real sense of the term. That is why this world is a divine creation, a manifestation of my Mother Divine. It is Her perfume that is there in roses or lavender. I'm helpless to speak the truth that my Mother Divine is the fragrance of all fragrances and the perfume of all perfumes. I only appreciate the fragrance of perfumes or essential oils so far my Mother Divine is not there, to fill up the void which is created through her absence. I'm like a small babe, I play with the toys of the world only, when she is not there. As soon as I see her face I rush up to her, my joy knows no bound. She takes me in her arms and presses me against her bosom. I cling to her for always, till eternity I will be with her in her presence. Meditate and pray to the Mother Divine because you are so close to her. She will think of you in meditation and will certainly listen to your prayers. May I become like you to shed ocean of tears ceaselessly. Take care of yourself and be always in the presence of Mother Divine.

Lots of Love,

- Shri Prabhuji
